I’m going riding with Sam and a couple of other friends on Saturday afternoon. It’ll be the first time I actually get my new bike out on the road for a real ride, clipless pedals and all. We’re having beautiful fall weather right now and I am itching to get out there and log some kilometres on the new bike. Exciting!
Also: hot yoga a couple of times, and a short run on Sunday if my back feels better (pulled it doing squats on Wednesday).
What about you? Any big activity plans this weekend? We’d love to hear about them!

Aikido with weapons on Saturday morning, riding with you Saturday afternoon (yay!) and our long slow row around the lake Sunday morning. I’m really looking forward to the weekend.
Sounds like a great weekend, especially the Saturday ride!
Chest day (weight training) on Saturday (about 1 hour), plus about 30 minutes of interval training (50 yard windsprint every 3 minutes, slow run between each windsprint).
Sunday is rest day!
It’s going to be a difficult weekend. My husband’s aunt is dying of cancer as we speak. I am supposed to be at a bridal shower tomorrow but I think we will be heading to New Jersey to say goodbye. At least I hope we will…. Other than that – nothing else matters.
So sorry for what your family is going through.
will we be seeing you at the petit fondo thanksgiving?
Sam told me about it yesterday and it sounds wonderful. But I’m probably still going to be in Haliburton where I’m going for thanksgiving.
