Thanks for posting to these. When I hear about “detox” diets, “cleanses,” and “clean eating” I just want to scream.
Yes, thanks for continuing to put the word out. This whole detox/cleanse metaphor is so pervasive and largely unquestioned, and I don’t understand why otherwise smart women (e.g. a bunch of people in my book club, for instance) persist in believing (and worse, acting on) these bogus claims. Sigh.
