But I now want to also suggest an excellent way to get started. Make Yoga with Adriene part of your plan. It’s a great way to kick off January and to get at least 30 workouts in in month 1 of the challenge.

It’s my plan. I think it’s Cate’s plan. And I know other bloggers who are also counting workouts who plan to do that too.

  1. Just be careful of going out to hard/fast in the excitement of the new year, new energy!

    I started 2020 with a January of Yoga with Adriene, and missed the point, pushing myself into injury/exacerbating things that I hadn’t addressed properly. Maybe it was a lesson I needed, but it was still super annoying to take the time to find the right practitioners to help my body, and actually follow their advice. I took many months off of yoga, but have come back, and am finishing the year with the 30-days of yoga for December. The theme for the month is Honor, and I feel as though I am actually ‘getting it’ this time around: honoring my body, the work I have done this year to get healthier and stronger, AND seeing the value in continuing to make myself a priority.
