I don’t know about you but I’ve been longing for a beach day. All this very hot weather has me craving big waves, sunshine, deep sand. Instead I’ve been riding my bike lots to get ready for the Friends for Life Bike Rally.
Luckily for me I don’t have to go that far away. Lake Huron will do nicely. I love the beach at the Pinery Provincial Park. There’s even a dog beach for Cheddar to swim. Catherine’s post about beautiful natural environments nearby got me thinking about. An hour drive away, I can even go up in the evening after work. It might have to wait until after the rally but beach, I’ll see you soon.

Headed to the beach again tomorrow to escape the heat and humidity plaguing my children and I. I miss Colorado (even without a beach) and the lack of oppressive heat and humidity all summer long! Enjoy the outside play!
