Sarah and I went out Thursday night on Guelph’s inaugural Pride Ride, co-organized by the Girls, Gays, and Theys Bike Club and the Guelph Coalition for Active Transportation. It wasn’t a long ride, but what it lacked in distance was made up for in rainbows, Pride flags, music, and happy people. About 30 of us gathered in the park and rode through the Ward neighborhood.

Girls, Gays, and Theys has a ride every month, on the last Wednesday, and I think I’d like to go. During the summer, it’s shorter distances, but they go for longer rides in the fall.
