Listen
If you’re like me and you struggle with fall and winter and the lack of light, this looks like an excellent play list.
Fitness coach Kate Solovieva writes, “May I present “Winterizing 101″ – a Spotify playlist with five interviews (and more coming) where we discuss seasonality, managing winter, adjusting movement and nutrition to the seasons, self-compassion, changing appetite and cravings, and more.”
Or if it’s music you’re after check out this Rest is Resistance playlist from the Nap Ministry’s Tricia Hersey.

I’m recommending a couple of Substack pieces. First, here’s Kate Manne’s The Body (Often) Tells the Truth. Shortversion: “When your frustrated gestures and missteps and bodily distress signals are read as a sign of your incompetence, not a problem with the world, you’re often being done an injustice.” Second, here’s Virginia Sole-Smith’s Tiny Women, Big Houses. “Thoughts on who diet culture is when she’s at home.” Both are engaging and enraging. Enjoy.
Watch
It’s not directly on the blog theme but I do plan on curling up with the first episode of the new season of that gay pirate show, Our Flag Means Death. And if I hadn’t given up on Netflix there’s the new season of Sex Education. I might sneak some in this weekend at Sarah’s family farm. They still have Netflix.
How about you fit feminist friends? What’s on your list for listening, reading, and watching this weekend?
