Back to school health and wellness resolutions

It’s September and for many of us here at the blog,  that means back to school.  September 1 far more than January 1 means the start of a new year.

Do I have any September resolutions?

Swim I plan to get out swimming at least once this month. I’m feeling inspired by Catherine’s visit and our trip to the Elora Quarry. Sadly though the quarry isn’t open after Labour Day weekend.

Ride I’m going to try to ride my bike most days.

Read Reading fiction makes me feel good and I’ve been taking a novel to work to read at lunch and when I take breaks.

Sleep Sleep is my super power.  Check out my rock solid year of eight hours a night. But it often falls apart with the start of the school year. Not this year. That’s the plan anyway.

But I also fib to myself about the hours I sleep.  I tell myself it’s 10 to 6 not not according to my Garmin.
