There are a lot of free workout videos these days. So many programs and so much free content. Where to start? Some of my favourites are provided by governments groups and agencies in Canada and the UK. You know there’s no sales pitch and impossible promises at the end. They’re very accessible and I love all the short options and all the dance options.

Participaction

What’s it offer? Dance, boxing, yoga, strength training, and so much more

My fave thing? Everything, even the dance classes, includes a chair option

Who offers it? “ParticipACTION has partnered with the YMCA on a new series of fun, motivating and expert-led exercise videos to help people living in Canada to get moving! At 20 minutes or less, these workouts can fit into your busy day. Modifications and a variety of movement options mean you can join in, no matter your age or ability. “

Note that the app is no longer being supported but the videos all work on the Participaction website.
