It’s officially Autumn (in a few hours anyway) so here’s some fall riding photos….

“Sick of long, hot summer days? Well, you’re in luck. Astronomically speaking, autumn is about to begin in the north. On Monday (Sept. 22), at 10:29 p.m. EDT (0229 Sept. 23 GMT) autumn begins astronomically in the Northern Hemisphere. This also marks the start of spring in the southern half of the globe.”

You know what I think. Autumn is the hands down best time of year for riding. See Reasons to start riding in the fall. Get out there and have some fun!

Here’s photos from an Autumn rail trail trip I did with my daughter Mallory a few years ago. The photos were taken in April, that’s fall in New Zealand, home of the Central Otago Rail Trail.
